The match began with a constant exchange of baskets between the two teams. Mirotic was in fine form for Saras Jasikevicius's side, however, Barça remained a point behind at the end of the first quarter (22-23).
In the second quarter, the hosts took advantage of effectiveness from the triple line to surge eight points ahead (38-30, min 16). Alba Berlin tried to close the gap, but Barça were still able to go into the break five up (45-40).
Win decided in the final minutes
In the second half, the Catalans found the going tough throughout. It wasn't until the last quarter and a 9-0 passage of play in the 35th minute that got Barça back on track. An eventual 80-67 win ensures that a place among the top four in the regular phase of the Euroleague is Barça's.
