Messi 'Goal of the Month' winner for February
The Argentine's screamer against Alavés picks up the prize for the month
We have another winner of our 'Goal of the Month' competition with Leo Messi winning the vote for February's edition for his excellent strike from outside the box against Alavés in the 5-1 win at Camp Nou in the league.
Voting via the FC Barcelona official website put Messi's goal against the Basques ahead of Jordi Alba's goal against Granada, another Messi strike against Elche and Trincão's goal against Betis.
The 'Goal of the Month' competition sees the fans vote for their favourite each month from a shortlist of four goals.
