Three Barça wins at Cornellà already this season

Barça B, U19A and U19B have emerged victorious from their fixtures at the Nou Municipal de Cornellà de Llobregat

Barça make their 2020/21 Copa del Rey debut this Thursday against Cornellà in the Round of 16 at the Nou Municipal de Cornellà de Llobregat (9.00pm CET).

The first-team have never faced the side from Baix Llobregat in official competition, but they're a regular opponent for Barça's youth teams. This season three teams from La Masia have already played in Cornellà, and all three earned a victory. The first were U19B: Oscar López's team won 0-2 on November 11 thanks to goals from Jordi Coca and Aleix Garrido.

The U19A side won 3-4 on 14 December. The locals took the lead, but Jaume Jardí equalised from the penalty spot and then Txus Alba scored a direct free-kick to make it 1-2. Cornellà managed to make it 2-2 before the break, but Alarcón's double took the game away from the hosts, even though they added another with the final move of the match.

Barça B grabbed their win six days later on 20 December. In the final game of the year, Garcia Pimienta's team won 0-1 thanks to a direct free-kick by Alex Collado.

That was a match in which Iñaki Peña, Konrad and Ilaix took part, and the trio could also play again against Cornellà this Thursday if Koeman decides to call them up.
