Ter Stegen makes 250th appearance

Including today's game with Athletic, the German has become the goalkeeper with the fifth most appearances in club history

Marc-André ter Stegen has reached a new milestone this Wednesday against Athletic Club at San Mamés by making his 250th appearance (all competitions) for FC Barcelona.

It makes him the goalkeeper with the fifth most appearances in club history, surpassing Pedro Artola's 249. Only Víctor Valdés (535 games), Andoni Zubizarreta (410), Antoni Ramallets (387) and Salvador Sadurní (332) remain ahead of him.

13 titles with Barça

As for Ter Stegen's 250 matches, 162 have been in the league, 63 in the Champions League, 20 in the Copa del Rey, four in the Spanish Super Cup and one in the European Super Cup. The German has won a total of 13 titles as a culé too: four League championships, one Champions League, four Copas del Rey, two Spanish Super Cups, one European Super Cup and one Club World Cup.
