Pedri's growth

The Canarian player showed his progression against Valladolid

Despite his youth, Pedri continues to show his progression match by match. Valladolid v Barça (0-3) this Tuesday was no exception and the Canarian player had an exceptional game. Specifically, there are three aspects to be highlighted below.

1. Connection with Leo Messi. The Nuevo José Zorrilla was the scene where Pedri completed most passes to Messi this season, with 10. Among them was the incredible assist that served to make it 0-3. If we take into account the previous league match, against Valencia at the Camp Nou, the stats are reversed: Messi made 12 passes to the Canarian. It's an association between the two footballers that is growing game by game.

2. Record of minutes. Pedri is the second player, from the year 2000 onwards, to have played the most minutes so far in the league. With 766 minutes played, only Valencia's Yunus Musah surpasses him. Barça defender, Sergiño Dest, is in fourth place, with 742 minutes played.

3. Progression. During Valladolid v Barça, Pedri achieved some personal records. He created four chances to score, equalling the record from the match against Alavés. With three dribbles at the Nuevo José Zorrilla, the match provided the most attempts by a Canarian player in the league this season.
