Messi, in the IFFHS best XI for 2020
The Argentine star is in the team with, among others, former Barça player Thiago Alcántara
Lionel Messi is included in the 2020 best XI published this Monday by the IFFHS (International Federation of Football History and Statistics). The Argentine star, who this year won his seventh Pichichi Trophy, is in the dream team alongside Manuel Neuer, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Sergio Ramos, Alphonso Davies, Joshua Kimmich, Thiago Alcántara, Kevin de Bruyne, Cristiano Ronaldo and Robert Lewandowski.
It should also be noted that Messi is among the five Barça candidates for the 'The Best' awards that FIFA award annually, and one of the nine Barça representatives in the UEFA Team of the Year.
