A longed-for victory at the Palau Blaugrana escaped Barça in the last seconds. Joselito and Daniel, with a goal in each half, had given Andreu Plaza's the lead, but the team faded badly in the last few minutes of this match.
Joselito, thanks to a masterful pass from Dyego, opened the scoring for Barça who were determined to achieve a second consecutive victory, and Daniel soon found the upright as the host's dominance continued. Dídac Plana in the Barça goal helped keep the score in his side's favour at half-time after repelling a great shot from distance by Iago Rodríguez.
Early in the second half Dyego hit the crossbar, but that led to Daniel's goal. With no time to lose, Héctor Souto's men went on an all-out attack, including using goalkeeper, Marc García, as an outfield player. Catalan resistance to the goalkeeper-player lasted 10 minutes until Iago Rodríguez managed to narrowed the deficit. Dyego, with a shot on goal and an empty net, should've seen Barça further ahead, and it was a miss that proved costly as Miguel equalised in the final few seconds, the result preventing Barça from earning their first victory in the league at the Palau Blaugrana.
