A hectic fixture list to round off the year

We take a look at the 11 La Liga and Champions League games that remain in 2020 for Ronald Koeman's team

After the final international break of 2020, Barça face a hectic end to the calendar year with a game virtually every three days. In the next month and a half the blaugranes have no less than 11 games to play: eight in La Liga and three in the Champions League. Let's take a look at what is in store for Ronald Koeman's team.

11 games in 39 days

Beginning with the trip to Atlético Madrid on 21 November and ending with a home game against Eibar, the blaugranes face 10 fixtures in just 39 days. 

The first test in this marathon end to 2020 comes at the Wanda Metropolitano against Diego Simeone's Atlético Madrid on Saturday, kick off 9.00pm CET. A clash between two of the best teams in Europe in La Liga is followed by a trip to the Ukraine to take on Dynamo Kyiv in the Champions League on Tuesday 24 November, kick off 9.00pm CET. The week ends with the visit of Osasuna to Camp Nou in La Liga on Saturday 29 November, kick off 2.00pm CET. 

December sees the matches continue to come thick and fast. On Wednesday 2 December, Barça travel to Budapest to take on Ferencváros in the Champions League, kick off 9.00pm CET. The following Saturday, 5 December another away trip awaits in La Liga when Koeman's side go to newly promoted Cádiz, kick off 9.00pm CET. 

The final fixture of the Champions League group stage comes for the blaugranes on Wednesday 8 December with the visit of Juventus to Camp Nou, kick off 9.00pm CET. The following weekend Barça have another home game, this time against Levante in La Liga on Sunday 13 December, kick off 9.00pm CET. 

In midweek, on Wednesday 16 December at 9.00pm CET Barça take on Real Sociedad in third of four consecutive home games with a La Liga fixture from week 19 brought forward from January due to Spanish Super Cup commitments. On Saturday 19 December, Barça face Valencia at Camp Nou at 4.15pm CET before 2020 ends with a La Liga away trip to Valladolid on Tuesday 22 December kick off at 10.00pm CET and a home game against Basque club Eibar in midweek just before New Year with kick off time still to be confirmed. Without doubt, a hectic schedule to round off what has been a very atypical 2020 for everybody.
