Movistar Estudiantes - Barça: A win with authority (78-92)

A great Barça victory to close a very good week. The Catalans easily beat Movistar Estudiantes (78-92) to earn their seventh win of this season and the second of the week after the great performance in Berlin in the Euroleague.

Frantic opening

Barça started the game at a great pace, and scored five three-pointers in the first quarter: two from Abrines and three from Mirotic, who was playing his 200th game in the ACB League. The second period followed the same tone as the previous 10 minutes, with triples from Kuric and Hanga. With Barça completely annulling Estudiantes in defence, a 3-18 breakdown of points meant that the visitors went ahead by 17-43. Although the locals managed to close the gap, by half-time Barça were still well ahead (27-48).

Barça dominance until the end

Estudiantes pushed hard in the third quarter, but Barça didn't allow them to react. In fact, for the entire second half they were kept at arms length, with the visitors eventually running out 78-92 winners.
