Palma Futsal 4 Barça 3: Negative run continues

An improved performance could not help Barça avoid defeat as a goal 47 seconds from the end seals the win for the home side

Barça are finding it hard to get out of a negative run of results; the played well against Inter and again against Palma only to lose on both occasions, the latter thanks to a goal 47 seconds from the end from Marlon.

Comeback in the first half

An up and down match saw Palma take the lead in the 7th minute only for Barça to react and take the lead thanks to efforts from Ferrao and Daniel. With the blaugranes having their best spell of the game, Palma equalised before half time with a goal from Vilela to make it 2-2 at the break.

Second half siege

In the second half Barça laid siege to the Palma goal. They did so even after conceding early after the restart, Lolo making it 3-2 to the home side. The blaugranes were denied by a fine display from Fabio, the Palma keeper. Nevertheless, Esquerdinha's goal seemed to have salvaged a draw before Marlon struck for Palma with less than a minute to go to hand victory to the Balearic side.
