Andrés Solano added to Barça B

22-year-old Colombian defender arrives on loan until 30 June 2021 with an option to buy

FC Barcelona has settled an agreement with Atlético Madrid for the loan of Andrés Solano to Barça B. The young right back from Colombia will be at the club until 30 June 2021 with the option to buy. He was at the Estadi Johan Cruyff to put pen to paper in the company of the director responsible for Barça B, Xavier Vilajoana, and then went straight to training with his new team.

Andrés Felipe Solano Dávila, born in Santa Marta (Colombia) on 22 February 1998, is 22 years old and joined Atlético Madrid when he was 16, helping the U18A team to the double in 2015/16. Since 2017/18 he has been part of the reserve team and has made 64 appearances and scored two goals. He made his first team debut on 9 March 2019, playing 45 minutes of a 1-0 defeat of Leganés at the Wanda Metropolitano. Solano has also played five games for the Colombia U23 team.
