Kick off time announced for FC Barcelona v Villarreal

The first league game of the season for Barça at Camp Nou will be on Sunday 27 September

The 2020/21 La Liga season kick off for Barça now has a date and a time. Ronald Koeman's team will take on Villarreal at Camp Nou on Sunday 27 September with kick off at 9.00pm CEST.

The game will be the squad's first official test under their new Dutch coach following preseason fixtures against Nàstic, Girona and Elche. FC Barcelona do not start their league programme until week 3's round of fixtures as the previous season they competed into August due to reaching the quarter finals of the Champions League in Lisbon. The games from week 1 and 2 have been postponed.
