Ansu Fati and Busquets called up for Spain

Ansu Fati has received his first call-up for the senior national team. Spain coach Luis Enrique has named the teenage striker in his squad for the UEFA Nations League games against Germany and Ukraine. Also included is Barça midfielder Sergio Busquets.

In October of 2019, Ansu Fati debuted with the Spain Under-21s. The 17-year-old now gets an opportunity at a full cap, after his breakthrough displays for FC Barcelona last season. He featured 33 times last term, scoring a total of 8 goals.

The match against Germany will be played in Stuttgart on September 3, with the meeting with Ukraine held on September 6 at the Alfredo Di Stefano stadium in Madrid.
