Only two days left until Barça-Napoli. There were two friendlies between the teams on the 2019 tour

In just two days, Barça and Napoli will face each other in the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16. Two... the number of matches between both teams that took place last summer in the United States and where the Catalans beat the Italians on both occasions.

The first game took place in the evening of August 7 (morning of August 8 European time) at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. The Catalans beat the Italians 2-1 thanks to goals from Sergio Busquets and Ivan Rakitic, while Umtiti scored an own goal to hand the Neapolitans a consolation.

Before 57,062 spectators, the Barcelona team was: Neto, Wagué, Todibo, Umtiti, Junior Firpo, Sergio Busquets, Riqui Puig, Rakitic, Griezmann, Carles Pérez and Luis Suárez. In the second half, Piqué, Semedo, De Jong, Rafinha, Abel Ruiz and Dembélé came on.

The second match was three days later, in the evening of August 10 (morning of August 11 European time). This time, Barça won 0-4 at Michigan Stadium in front of 60,043 spectators. Four goals came in fifteen second half minutes as the Catalans annihilated their opponents. Luis Suárez, with a double, Griezmann and Dembélé, ensured a victory for Valverde's men.

Ter Stegen, Semedo, Piqué, Lenglet, Jordi Alba, Sergi Roberto, De Jong, Aleñá, Griezmann, Suárez and Dembélé all started, with Umtiti, Arthur, Vidal Coutinho, Rafinha and Abel Ruiz coming on in the second half.
