League title defence begins on September 5

The National Committee for Women’s Football has decided that the Spanish top flight, the Primera Iberdrola will start on September 5 in an expanded competition that will include 18 teams and will end on 20 June 2021.

The Copa de la Reina Final 2021 will be played on May 30, and the second edition of the Super Cup, in which Barça are also defending their tile. Will take place in January.

It was also decreed that the second division, the Reto Iberdrola, featuring Barça B, will start on September 27.
