Five Barça Escola Barcelona athletes to join Barça youth teams

A total of five athletes who during the present campaign have been part of the different categories at the Barça Escola Barcelona have been selected for the 2020/21 club setup. Three footballers, a basketball player and a futsal player will make the transition from the school to the youth teams of FC Barcelona in a few weeks.

Footballer Miranda Sterer (born in 2009), will start training with the Under-11s E team for the 2020/21 season. Frank Dídac Sánchez (2012) will join the Under-7s team, while Marc Martínez (2010) will be part of the Under-11s Martínez arrives at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper from the Barça Academy Perfeccionament in Lleida, located in Torrefarrera, where he has been training with the Barça style of play and values ​​during this past season. Barça Escola Barcelona Futsal will also have its first player brought up to the youth setup, at Under-11s level. Circumstances caused by the Covid-19 crisis have meant that the last selection trials, between two players, have not yet been carried out. The final decision will be made during preseason, in which both will take part.
