Four games without conceding a goal

Barça keep clean sheets against Real Sociedad, Mallorca, Leganés and Sevilla

Barça's defensive solidity is bearing fruit. The blaugranes have gone four games without conceding a goal: the last game before the break due to the Covid-19 crisis, a 1-0 win against Real Sociedad, and on the return to action a 4-0 win away victory at Mallorca. the 2-0 home win against Leganés and Friday's 0-0 draw in the Sánchez Pizjuán against Sevilla.

During the season, Barça have kept 14 clean sheet: 11 in the league, two in the Champions League and one in the Copa del Rey. So far this season goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen has conceded just 34 goals in 37 matches, less than one a game.

More than a year without four clean sheets in a row

The last time Barça went four games without conceding was in April 2019: a 2-0 win against Atlético Madrid was followed by a 1-0 win away at Manchester United in the quarter finals of the Champions League, then a 0-0 draw against Huesca before a 3-0 win in the return leg at Camp Nou against Manchester United.
