Barça 33–25 Bidasoa Irún: Home sweet home!

Xavi Pascual's players win another game in the Asobal League and send the Palau wild

After 68 days, Barça's handball side returned to the Palau Blaugrana. Despite playing against Bidasoa Irún, an always difficult opponent, Barça continued their winning streak (33-25). Dika Mem and Víctor Tomàs, with five goals each, were the highest scorers for the hosts.

Barça started off well (16-11, min 20), but little by little Bidasoa Irún got back into it. By the half hour, the scores were level (17-17, min 30), but that gave the blaugranes the impetus to push on. An 8-1 run of scoring saw the hosts up 28-20 (min 51), and although Odriozola again reduced the lead, Barça didn't panic and saw out the match comfortably.
