Dembélé joins in Sunday training

The Frenchman participated in part of the morning session

The FC Barcelona squad trained on Sunday morning at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, the day after their away defeat to Valencia. The players turned their focus to the upcoming games that await them in the Copa del Rey and LaLiga, against CD Leganés and Levante UD, respectively.

The session featured available first team players on Pitch 2, with those who had minutes against Valencia undertaking recovery work. Joining the squad for part of the session was Ousmane Dembélé, as part of his recovery process from injury. Barça B players Iñaki Peña, Sergi Puig, R. Araujo, Collado, Riqui Puig, C. Pérez, Ansu Fati and Abel Ruiz also trained with the first team.

The squad will have a day off on Monday, before resuming their preparations on Tuesday at 11am CET.

New training kit

The Sunday session saw the players debuting a new training kit. The new yellow kit replaces the previous blue apparel used thus far in 2019/20. Midfielder Frenkie De Jong was the chosen to present the training wear at the Nike store in Barcelona last week.
