Return to work

The available first team players returned to training at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper this Sunday afternoon to begin preparing for next Saturday's match against Espanyol (9.00pm CET).

It was a session that was also attended by Iñaki Peña and Carles Pérez from Barça B with Ansu Fati doing part of the group work. Moussa Wague didn't train, nor did Sergi Roberto with the coach's permission. Before the session began, a minute's silence was held in tribute to Sergi Roberto's mother, who left us last Saturday.

Leo Messi, Luis Suárez, Neto and Arturo Vidal will re-join their team-mates on January 2. Before that, the team will have a double training session on Monday 30 (11.00am and 6.00pm CET), with another workout planned for Tuesday 31 (10.00am CET), the last of the year.
