More than 300 goals in the Valverde era

With the four goals scored in the win against Sevilla, Ernesto Valverde's Barça have exceeded 300 goals. Since the coach took over the first team in the summer of 2017, FC Barcelona have managed to score a total of 301 goals in all competitions, encompassing 129 official matches. The coach's overall record thus far is 87 wins, 28 draws and only 14 losses.

Of those 300 goals, 209 have come in the league, 45 in the Champions League, 44 in the Copa del Rey and three in the Spanish Super Cup. The Camp Nou has seen a total of 183 goals, while 110 have been scored as a visiting team and eight more on a neutral pitch.

If we break them down by seasons, the Catalans scored a total of 141 goals during the 2017/18 season, and in the 2018/19 campaign they scored 138 more. In the current campaign, they've managed 22.

In total, Barça have scored against 36 different teams under the Basque's tutelage. The team that has conceded the most goals are Sevilla, with 29, followed by Betis (19), Levante (17) and Real Madrid (16).

Messi, with 97, the top scorer

A total of 30 different players have scored in the Valverde era, with Leo Messi as the main protagonist. The Argentine leads the ranking with a total of 97 goals, followed by Luis Suarez with 61. Coutinho (21), O. Dembélé (19), Piqué (12), Paulinho and Rakitic (9), Jordi Alba, Paco Alcácer and Arturo Vidal (all 7), Denis Suárez (5), Malcom (4), Arnáiz and Griezmann (both 3), Aleñá, Ansu Fati, Arthur, Deulofeu, Munir, Iniesta, Lenglet and Sergi Roberto (2), and finally, Sergio, De Jong, Digne, Junior Firpo, Rafinha, N. Semedo, Umtiti and Carlos Pérez with one goal each. In addition, 12 goals have been own goals.
