Ernesto Valverde names a 20 man squad for the first game of the season in the Champions League at Camp Nou

Europe's premier club competition returns to Camp Nou with the visit of Serie A side Inter Milan in the second game of group F. Coach Ernesto Valverde named a 20 man squad for Wednesday's game which kicks off at 9.00pm CEST. 

The list is as follows: Ter Stegen, N. Semedo, Piqué, I. Rakitic, Sergio, Todibo, Arthur, Suárez, Messi, O. Dembélé, Neto, Lenglet, M. Wague, Griezmann, Aleñá, S. Roberto, F. De Jong, Vidal, Junior and C. Pérez. Out injured are Jordi Alba, Umtiti and Ansu Fati.

Final session with Messi and Dembélé

On Tuesday the team trained for the final team ahead of the game against Inter Milan in a session with all the first team squad, including Messi adn Dembélé; Ansu Fati carried out part of the session with the rest of the squad. Iñaki Peña and Carles Pérez from Barça B also took part in the session. With training complete, Leo Messi and Ousmane Dembélé were declared fit and both were included in the squad for the Champions League debut at Camp Nou.
