Xavi Pascual's team overwhelm their opponents to take two important points in Group A of the Champions League

A great win away win for Barçaby 36-19 at PPD Zagreb where Xavi Pascual's team dominated in every facet of the game to take two valuable points in Group A of the Champions League. 

Barça needed just four minutes to take the lead and their pace on the transition allowed them to score eight unanswered goals to put themselves 9-2 up after 11 minutes. That dominance continued under the leadership of Sipic and at half time the score 21-9 in favour of the blaugranes. 

In the second half, when they did get a chance, PPD Zagreb came up against goalkeeper Gonzalo Pérez Vargas. He made 19 saves and conceded just 19 goals as Barça ran out 36-19 winners at the end with Aleix Gómez top scoring with eight goals.
