The seventh Copa Catalunya in a row was not to be after an intense final saw Industrias Santa Coloma lift the trophy following a tight 4-3 win.
Dyego put the blaugranes ahead in the first half but before the break Petry and Verdejo turned the game in Santa Coloma's favour. In the second half goalkeeper Miquel Feixas made a series of great stops for the blaugranes' opponents only for Aicardo to equalise for Barça. However, two quick goals from Cardona and Well turned the game around and Rivillos' late strike was not enough to stop Santa Coloma claiming the title.
