Following a double session the previous day, Friday saw the team continue work in preparation for the Joan Gamper Trophy game against Arsenal. In the session, held on the Tito Vilanova pitch, Arthur was again present -earlier than his scheduled return date of 4 August. Riqui Puig and Carlos Pérez of Barça B also participated with the first team.
Next up on the training schedule is a workout at 6:30pm CEST on Saturday. From there, the team will take on their third preseason game in the meeting with Arsenal, playing at the Camp Nou for the first time with the 2019/20 squad. The Joan Gamper Trophy game will also feature the presentation of the group and the coaching staff from 7pm.
