Barça trained at Vissel Kobe's home ground, the Noevir Stadium Kobe, with one notable attendee: Andrés Iniesta

KOBE, Japan — FC Barcelona held its last training session of the 2019 summer tour in Japan on Friday, in an evening workout at the Noevir Stadium Kobe, the home field of Andrés Iniesta's Vissel Kobe, the team Barça face on Saturday. The match at Vissel Kobe, which is Barça's second and final fixture in the Rakuten Cup, is set for 6.00pm local time (11.00am CEST in Barcelona). Following the match, Els Blaugrana will fly back to Barcelona, with their arrival expected on Sunday morning.

But before returning to Catalonia, the Catalans will play in a match that is a reunion of sorts. Besides Iniesta, Vissel Kobe also boast the likes of two other former Barça players — David Villa and Sergi Samper

With Iniesta looking on, all available players took part in the workout. Gerard Piqué did not train due to discomfort in his left leg, and Hiroki Abe worked out on the side.

Along with Iniesta, the FC Barcelona president, Josep Maria Bartomeu, also took in the workout, as did the Club's CEO, Òscar Grau, the board member Jaume Masferrer, and the first team's Technical Secretary, Éric Abidal.

After the match against Vissel Kobe, Barça's next clash comes on August 4th and Camp Nou, when they face Arsenal in the Joan Gamper Trophy match. The following day, Barça continue with their summer tour in the United States, with stops in Miami, Florida and Ann Arbor, Michigan for a pair of friendlies with Napoli.
