The Association closes the season at the Camp Nou

190 former players were in the stadium to play the traditional summer games

Barça Players Association closed symbolically the sports season this Monday, July 1 at the Camp Nou. An appointment that has already become traditional and one of the BPA sports events that more players and players mobilize. Up to 190 members of the Association returned to put their boots to play a series of friendly mini-matches in the afternoon, and where they also had the opportunity to participate representatives of the collaborating companies of the association. Between party and party, a perfect occasion to take pictures with the more than 200 relatives that could not be missed afternoon sports detail.

Of the four games that were disputed, one was for the Feminine BPA, the newest formation of the Group and that brought together 40 former players of the Women's FCB. For the great majority of them (and also of some of the new members of the Association), this Monday it was the first time that they paved the pitch of the Camp Nou. At the end of the women's party, all attendees had moments of silence in memory of Núria Llansà, a former player of FC Barcelona who died on June 26.

During the subsequent dinner, the president of the BPA, Ramon Alfonseda, and the director of FC Barcelona, ​​Pau Vilanova, thanked the involvement of all the members of the Association that form the Sports Area. They also had a detail with the Hungarian mayor, Barnabás Kovács, in gratitude to the task he has done to recover the memory history of the 3 Hungarian former Barça players. Ladislau Kubala and Sandor Kocsis gave him a commemorative plaque and shirt.
