Barça Women, the team with the most players at the World Cup

Fifteen have been called up from the Blaugrana, making them the most represented club team in France, ahead of Lyon

The Women's World Cup in France that will begin on June 7 will be dyed Blaugrana. With 15 players from the 2018/19 squad called up, Barça will be the club with the most representatives in the tournament. It's a record for the club and is also a global one: European champions, Lyon have 14 players involved, Chelsea (12), Manchester City (12) and the Korean side, Hyundai Steel Red Angels (11).

Once the squads for the 24 national teams have been published, Barça will have 10 players in the Spanish squad (Sandra Paños, Marta Torrejón, Andrea Pereira, Maria Leon, Leila Ouahabi, Patri Guijarro, Vicky Losada, Aitana Bonmatí, Alexia Putellas and Mariona Caldentey), two representing the Netherlands (Lieke Martens and Stefanie Van der Gragt), one representing Brazil (Andressa Alves), one representing England (Toni Duggan) and one representing Nigeria (Asisat Oshoala).

Not forgetting the Norwegian, Caroline Graham Hansen, Barça's first signing for the 2019/20 campaign, official as of July 1.
