Caroline Graham Hansen reinforces Barça Women's team

The 24-year-old Norwegian winger arrives from Wolfsburg on a two season deal

Caroline Graham Hansen is FC Barcelona's first signing for the 2019/20 season. On Monday the 24-year-old winger, who comes to Barça from Wolfsburg, signed a two-year deal that expires on June 30, 2021. The signing ceremony was held at the Camp Nou offices, and was attended by the board member in charge of the section, Maria Teixidor, and sports manager Markel Zubizarreta.

In five seasons playing in Germany, Caroline Graham Hansen stood out for her strength, technique, difference-making, and field vision. She led the Bundesliga in assists. Despite her young age, she gained experience at Wolfsburg by winning three league titles, five Cups, and playing in two Champions League finals (2016 and 2018). She formed along with Denmark's Pernille Harder and Poland's Ewa Pajor one of the most dangerous triple threats in Europe.

She was also European runner up with Norway in 2013. After a quick stop in Barcelona, the Oslo native rejoined the national team as they continue to prepare for the World Cup in France.

Caroline Graham Hansen statements

“It's a great club that has done a lot of good work in recent years. I wanted to come and join in, it was a simple decision."

"I want to contribute to Barcelona establishing itself among the elite of European clubs. I'll give it my all to do that and to win titles."
