Squad announcements for the European countries fielding teams in either the UEFA Nations League Final Four and 2020 European Championships qualifying in June, were made on Friday. Portugal, Switzerland, England and the Netherlands make up the Final Four, while the rest of the teams will play qualifying matches to end their 2018-19 season.
The first players to be announced were those for the Spanish squad. Coach Luis Enrique Martínez called up Barça's Sergi Roberto, Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets to play both qualifying matches for Euro 2020, against the Faroe Islands and Sweden. The first match will take place on Friday, 7 June in Tórshavn, while the second will be on the following Monday at the Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid. During the next few days, more squad announcements will be made.
