Barça B 1 – 1 Badalona: Posts keep blaugranes from winning

The Catalans deserved more on Sunday but ran up against the woodwork

Barça B played to a draw at home versus Badalona on Sunday evening in Week 35 of the Second Division B's Group III. The Barça reserves were superior throughout and had far more scoring chances than their opponents, but what they lacked was luck.

Oriol Busquets and Wague both hit the post, keeping Barça from racking up a win. Araujo scored the team's lone goal in minute 63, just 10 minutes after Néstor had put Badalona in front on a counterattack.

Barça goalkeeper Iñaki Peña saved his third penalty kick of the season moments before the tying goal.

The draw gives Barça one more point in the standings and leaves them on 50, good enough for seventh place, just five points out of a playoff spot.

Barça B's next match comes Sunday at Lleida.
