Leo Messi is no stranger to lifting the LaLiga trophy, and FC Barcelona's 2018/19 title win is accompanied by a new honour for the Argentinian superstar. He is now a ten-time winner of LaLiga, making him the most decorated player in the club's history in that regard.
The first time he was a league champion with Barça was in the 2004/05 season, and since then he has helped the team to a further 9 over the 14-season period.

The honour is a new one for Messi, who overtakes 9-times LaLiga winner Andrés Iniesta with his latest triumph. Behind the pair in the running for the most prolific winners of the Primera División are Xavi Hernández, Sergio Busquets and Gerard Piqué, with eight league titles apiece.
Closing in on the overall record
Messi's tenth title puts him level with Real Madrid's Pirri in the overall list of the most successful players on the domestic stage. Only one player is ahead of him: Real Madrid's Paco Gento, whose titles came between 1953 and 1969.
