In each country a thousand children between the ages of 8 and 16 will benefit from the programme.

In Iraq, the project is working intensively on reducing aggressive behaviour in young people and improving school performance . In Qatar, the methodology focuses on promoting healthy eating habits to fight the high rates of childhood obesity in the country, while in Oman teamwork and respect are the focus of the project . A new feature in Qatar and Oman this year is that two groups of women , traditionally secluded sporting activities in these areas, have joined FutbolNet .
