Four Barça semifinalists in UEFA competitions

The first team, Barça Women, U19A and the Barça Lassa futsal team will seek to be in their respective European finals

Four out of four. The blaugrana representation in the semifinals of the UEFA competitions is incontestable. The first team in the Champions League, the Women in the Women's Champions League, the U19A side in the Youth League and Barça Lassa's futsal team in the Champions League. Four teams that are one step away from reaching their respective finals to take Barça to glory.

First team - UEFA Champions League

The team led by Ernesto Valverde are experiencing an exceptional moment, and this Tuesday they qualified to the semifinals of the Champions League after a four year hiatus. A 3-0 win over Manchester United (4-0 on aggregate) came thanks to a stellar performance from Leo Messi. Barça's rival in the semifinals will be the winner of the match between Porto and Liverpool.

Women - UEFA Women's Champions League

Luis Cortés' team made history again in qualifying for the semifinals of the premier European competition. The culés eliminated LSK Kvinner in the quarterfinals 4-0 on aggregate, and will now face Bayern Munich in the semifinals, the second time Barça Women have made it to this stage in their history. The first leg will be played in Germany this Sunday (6.00pm CEST), while the second leg will be at the Miniestadi on Sunday 28 April at 12.00pm CEST. The Catalans will seek to qualify for the Champions League final for the first time in history, a final that will be held in Budapest on May 18.

Juvenil A - UEFA Youth League

It's the third consecutive final four for Barça's U19A squad, who eliminated Lyon in the quarters with a penalty in added time (3-2). Denis Silva's young men will defend their title in Nyon on Friday, April 26 (6.00pm CEST) against Chelsea in the semifinals. The winners will play the final on Monday 29, which would be against Hoffenheim or Porto.

Barça Lassa - UEFA Futsal Champions League

Andreu Plaza's team have also qualified for the European final four. For the second consecutive year, the Catalans are among the four best teams in Europe, and will travel to Almaty (Kazakhstan) in search of a new European title. Barça Lassa won the Elite Round, finishing first in Group B, and now they will face Kairat in the semifinals. Either Sporting CP or Inter Movistar will be lying in wait in the final.

We must remember that Barça Lassa have also qualified for the final four of the European Roller Hockey League, where they'll play in the semifinals against Porto. As for basketball and handball, both are still alive in Europe, but they have to play in the quarterfinals of both the Euroleague and the EHF Champions League. Therefore, the options for a clean sweep from Barça in Europe are still intact.
