One Team clinic at Ciutat Esportiva

The beneficiaries of this social project to promote values through basketball participate in new clinic, this time with players of different Euroleague teams

The Ciutat Esportiva basketball pavilion on Tuesday played host to a very special session of the One Team clinic. The event was labelled the ‘Team Captain’s Session’, a meeting in which the Euroleague  provides training on the functioning of the competition to representatives of the teams involved.

In the final part of the session, the 16 players present, among them Barca star Ante Tomic, participated in a game of wheelchair basketball with a group of youngsters from the UNES sporting union, beneficiaries of the One Team project.

'One Team' is a project created by the Euroleague with the aim of using basketball as a means to promote the social integration of gender equality and values among young people.

This year, the beneficiaries of the project are the youngsters of the UNES union, a non-profit organisation that promotes sports to people with physical disabilities, with the focus being on wheelchair basketball. The AFA schools (Adapted Physical Activity) is a project within the UNES union which is aimed at people with physical disabilities, in order to practice an adapted physical activity.
