Barça B 3–2 Levante: Total football at the Miniestadi
After a five-goal thriller, Garcia Pimienta's side have now gone four games without defeat, including three wins and a draw
Barça B gave a lesson in total football during their 3-2 win over Levante. The culés didn't allow the losses of Riqui Puig, Wague and Abel Ruiz - who traveled to Huesca with the first team - to affect them. Mujica, Carles Pérez and Merveil scored the goals, with Joan and Cantero relpying for the visitors.
The game couldn't have got off to a better start for the Blaugrana. Great pressure forced an error from the visitors in their first spell of possession, and Mujica made no mistake when the chance came his way (1-0, min 1). Levante reacted well and Joan quickly restored parity (1-1, min 7).
As the match settled down, Barça began to play their possession game, but it would be Levante that would go ahead on the score board. Monchu had already missed twice for the hosts before Cantero punished his wastefulness (1-2, min 34). That said, their joy was short-lived too as Carles Pérez grabbed an equaliser just before the break (2-2, min 37).
Barça B had more control in the second half, and both sides had fewer chances. Ten minutes from the end, with the hosts having patiently waited for Levante to tire themselves out from the initial effort made in the match, Merveil tucked Miranda's cross into the bottom of the net (3-2, min 79) to earn the three points.
