1-0 almost always sees Barça through

A result in the first leg that breeds optimism: Barça have won the tie on seven occasions after winning with the only goal away from home in the first leg

A 1-0 victory in Europe bodes well for Barça. At Old Trafford the win came thanks to a goal with Barça DNA and Ernesto Valverde’s team laid the foundations for a possible place in the semi-finals of the Champions League  League. On seven of the eight occasions that Barça have won 1-0 away in the first leg of a European tie they progressed to the next round.
