Countdown to the 2017 FCBEscola International Tournament!

We are almost there!

In just a few short days the ball will be rolling at the 2017 FCBEscola International Tournament, the annual spring competition for 7- to 14-year-olds that this year is being held from 10 to 13 April at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, FC Barcelona’s training center in Sant Joan Despí, a suburb of Barcelona.

This year’s edition will be the biggest one yet, with over 1,500 children representing 33 FCBEscolas and Camps from 20 different countries.

A bevy of teams taking part in this year’s tournament have preempted their trips to the Catalan capital by posting photos along with videos of top plays and team cheers on social media in an attempt at raising the level of excitement.

And the FCBEscola itself has produced a pre-tournament buildup video that is sure energize fans and players alike, including special messages from the Barça stars Leo Messi, Gerard Piqué, and Andrés Iniesta.

The FCBEscola is also making official use of the hashtag #FCBEscola17 to help promote the tournament and allow everyone to join in the conversation on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, where you can follow us too and stay up to date with all the latest news and information, results, photos, and videos from throughout the four-day competition.
