Barça Academy Guatemala stands with those affected by the Fuego volcano

The Barça Academy Guatemala, located outside Guatemala City, has undertaken a series of actions to aid those affected by the eruption of the country’s Fuego volcano, which is just 40km (25 miles) from the school.

The death toll stemming from Sunday's eruption stands at 70, according to the latest reports.

Among the initiatives being carried out are a non-perishable food drive and the collection of first aid and basic personal hygiene supplies, as well as water, diapers, and other clothing, which are to be handed out at nearby aid distribution centers.

FC Barcelona offers its condolences to the victims of the volcanic eruption and stands with the people of Guatemala.
