Tenth league win in numbers

Barça have ten wins and one draw so far in la Liga and are just three wins away from the best ever start to a league season

- Barça are still top of the league with three points between them and second placed Atlético Madrid. They have also extended the best ever start to a Liga season for FCB, which is now ten wins and a draw.

- Three more wins would set a new record for the start to a Liga campaign. Barça need to beat Zaragoza, Levante and Bilbao to beat Real Madrid’s start of twelve wins and two draws in the 1991/92 season.

- Barça have won every away game played so far this Liga season, at Osasuna, Getafe, Sevilla, Deportivo, Rayo Vallecano and Mallorca.

- Barça have scored 36 goals in the league, 26 of which have been away from home.

- Gerard Piqué, who briefly came on against Celtic, started his first game since the home clash with Spartak Moscow on September 19.

- Piqué played the full game and won 15 balls and only lost three, while 53 of his 56 passes were good.

- Tello has scored 10 times for Barça since making his first team debut. He has scored in the last three games that he has started (Spartak, Deportivo and Mallorca).

- Sergio Busquets will miss Saturday’s game with Zaragoza through suspension after getting his fifth yellow card of the season against Mallorca.

- Messi is still top goalscorer with 15, and is nine short of beating Müller’s record of 85 goals in a calendar year. Against Mallorca he beat Pelé’s tally of 75.

- Cesc and Valdés are still ever-presents in la Liga. They have started all eleven matches played to date.

- Barça have scored 51 official goals this season: 36 in La Liga, 8 in the Champions League, 3 in the Copa del Rey and 4 in the Spanish Supercup.
