After Barça Regal won the Copa del Rey in Vitoria by defeating Valencia Basket in the final, FC Barcelona President Sandro Rosell said “when it was time to win, we did.” Rosell, who attended the match in Vitoria after watching this morning’s match at the Camp Nou, explained that “the team’s attitude is important to us. It’s part of the values of our Club. We’re very proud of this team.”
“We want to share this Cup with everyone, in no time at all it will be in the Museum,” said Rosell, who added that “no one can say that we don’t deserve this torphy because we defeated three very strong teams.” Finally, he noted that “despite the fact that we are rebuilding the basketball section of the Club, we continue to win. The grades are given out at the end of the season.”
