The MIC goes into the final stages of the juvenil, cadet, infantil, aleví football 7 and aleví football 11 categories this Friday. On Thursday, four Barça players took advantage of a day off from training to follow this prestigious international youth football tournament in person.
Thiago Alcántara made the kick-off of honour in the match between FC Barcelona and Puerto Cabello of Venezuela in the cadet category, which was played in Palafrugell and which ended in a 3-0 win for Barça. Marc Bartra and Marc Muniesa watched the game between FC TRP from Japan and Club Football Lloret – where Marc Muniesa’s brother, Jan, plays - in the Lloret de Mar stadium. Meanwhile, Gerard Deulofeu, saw the final minutes of the match between Farners and Vila-real in the stadium of Santa Coloma de Farners.
