Physically powerful opponent

Brondby have a lot of experience in the Champions League, and they are currently ranked the seventh best team in the continent by UEFA. They have won the last three editions of the Danish league and have also conquered the last three editions of the Cup. They have 10 international Danish players, all of whom reached the semifinals of this summer’s European championship.

Xavi Llorens told www.fcbarcelona.com that “I encourage the fans to come to the Mini to cheer the team on. It will be a good tie where everyone will be able to enjoy it. Brondby are a physical and technically well trained side, they will make things difficult for us.” Despite the Danish side’s obvious potential, Llorens is confident in his team: “We’ll have our chances to go through if we play our game and we pass the ball with speed.”
