The LFP has announced the times and dates of almost all of Barça’s games until the end of the year. FCB play Betis on Sunday November 10 at Benito Villamarín, kick-off in the thirteenth game of the league season being at 21.00. That’s the last game before another international break, and Barça then return to action on Saturday November 23 at 16.00 at home to Granada. After that comes Athletic Bilbao v Barça, on Sunday December 1 at 21.00, and Barça v Villarreal, on Saturday December 14 at 20.00.
Five Liga and two UCL matches
Barça return to action next Saturday in Pamplona, where Osasuna will be the opposition from 20.00. After that comes the Clásico at the Camp Nou on Saturday October 26 at 18.00. There are two more league games immediately after the showdown with Real Madrid: on Tuesday October 29 Barça are away to Celta at 22.00, and on Friday November 1 comes the local derby with Espanyol, starting at 21.00. Three frenetic weeks end with the aforesaid Betis match in Seville.
But not only do FCB have five league games in 22 days, but they also have a couple of Champions League fixtures too. On October 22 they’re away to AC Milan at the San Siro (20.45) and on November 6, they face the ‘rossoneri’ once again, this time at the Camp Nou (20.45).
Run-in to Christmas
Barça v Granada on November 23 is the first of the games leading up to the break for Christmas and New Year. On Tuesday 26 Ajax host Barça in the Champions League and the Sunday after, FCB are returning to San Mamés. In between the games with Bilbao and Villarreal there will also be two midweek matches, one in the round of 32 of the Copa del Rey (around December 6) and the final game of the Champions League group, with Barça v Celtic on December 11.
Before Christmas, on December 18, there’s the second leg of the Copa del Rey tie and the league game with Getafe on December 22. The times of these last two matches have yet to be confirmed.
