Historic win for Celtic (0-7)

All of FC Barcelona's Champions League opponents, Celtic, Milan and Ajax, have won this weekend

Celtic, Ajax and AC Milan, the clubs in UCL Group H along with Barça, have all won on Sunday. Celtic thrashed ailing Hearts 7-0 in the Scottish FA Cup, the home side’s biggest home defeat for forty years.

Commons (3), Brown, Ledley and Lustig all found the net for the ‘Hoops’, who led 5-0 at half-time, which does something to make up for their painful defeat at home to AC Milan midweek.

Good run for Ajax

After beating Barça on Tuesday, Ajax rounded off a great week with a 4-0 win at ADO Den Haag. Klaassen opened the scoring after 10 minutes, and Fischer added another before the break.

ADO Den Haag did little to change things in the second half. Van Rhijn added a third and then former Barça man Bojan Krkic marked his return from injury with his first official goal for the club.

AC Milan regaining form

Milan worked hard to win 3-1 at Catania, going down to an early goal from Castro but soon levelling thanks to a thunderous volley from Montolivo.

Milan improved after the break. Balotelli edged his side in front from a free kick and then Kaka made it three with an excellent run followed by an unstoppably powerful strike.
