Gerardo Martino has called up the whole team for the match this Wednesday away to Real Sociedad. The fact that Barça could qualify for the Cup final led the manager to name all 25 first team players, including the injured players (Jonathan dos Santos and Neymar Jr), to the team.
This Tuesday’s training session, the last before the trip to San Sebastián, saw Carles Puyol and Neymar Jr train with the group. The captain was given the medical all-clear after the session, while the Brazilian has yet to be declared fit.
Oier Olazábal also got the green light to return to competitive play. The player has been out of action since 30 December.
It’s worth noting that the FC Barcelona expedition will travel to San Sebastián on Wednesday morning. The flight will depart from Barcelona at 11:00 AM CET.
