Tossa de Mar was the centre for supporters club activity in Girona on May 11. The club from la Selva is celebrating its 40th anniversary and did so by hosting the XII Trobada de Penyes Barcelonistes del Gironès, la Selva, la Garrotxa i el Pla de l’Estany.
FC Barcelona vice president Jordi Cardoner i Casaus attended in representation of the club, joined by former player Pere Valentí Mora. The president of the federation representing supporters clubs in el Gironès, la Selva, la Garrotxa, and el Pla de l’Estany, Joaquim Vall-llosera, was also there, as was the president of the Penya Blaugrana de Tossa de Mar, Francesc Palou, as the host.
The main event was held in the municipal sports pavilion attended by more than one hundred people and fifteen supporters clubs. Gisela Saladich, the town’s mayoress. Was also in attendance, making Tossa de Mar the capital of Girona’s FCB fan base for a weekend.
