25th anniversary of PB Móra d’Ebre

Saturday was the day for the II Trobada de Penyes Barcelonistes de la Ribera d’Ebre, la Terra Alta i el Priorat and also to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the PB Móra d’Ebre. The club was represented by FC Barcelona vice-president for the Social Department, Jordi Cardoner.

It all began with the inauguration of the new clubhouse by Robert Fernández of the Barça Players Association. He was joined by Josep Antoni Ribera, president of PB Móra d’Ebre; Joan Piñol, the town mayor; Ramón Vilas, president of the Agrupació PB Ribera d’Ebre, Terra alta i Priorat, and Ramón Fibla, president of the Federació de PB de les Terres de l’Ebre. After the different greetings, the new Móra d’Ebre clubhouse was declared officially open.

The entourage then went on to the local town hall, where FCB vice-president Jordi Cardoner declared the event closed and signed the FC Barcelona book of honour.

The Penya Blaugrana de Móra d’Ebre also paid tribute to its former treasurer, Ramón Guimerà. The meetings was attended by 140 people and 30 supporters clubs from the different counties and ended with a dinner and speeches from Jordi Cardoner, Robert Fernández, Josep Antoni Ribera, Ramon Fibla and Conxita Moseguí, the Móra d’Ebre councillor for sport.
