The first impressions of the Chilean goalkeeper as a Barça player
He is already a veteran in our league, but our new keeper said that, when one lands in Barça and sees everything from the inside, you realise the large extent of it. One of the things that surprised him during his first days as part of FC Barcelona is how often people would stop him to take pictures or sign autographs.
He also talked about the impact his transfer to Barça is having back in Chile and how excited and motivated he is by the expectations this has raised among his fellow countrymen.
He was also explaining that he comes to Barça to start from scratch, but that at the same time he is motivated after seeing all the keepers who have defended this goal so that he can be at their level, so he is not afraid. What this generates is the appetite for being outstanding during trainings and games, so that he can repay the trust people have placed in him with good performances.
