The main activities in the build-up to the Joan Gamper Trophy have been defined, although some of the times are still approximate. From August 16 to 18, there will be three days of intense fellowship, and plenty of fun and surprises featuring the supporters movement.
Activities for the young
It all starts with the 9th edition of the FC Barcelona Supporters Club 7-a-side Football Tournament, which begins on Saturday 16 August and ends on Sunday 17.
We will shortly be sending out information about how the teams representing the different federations will be able to register.
Before the Gamper, on Monday 18 August, we’ll be holding the Penyes Futbol Games, a videogame competition for under 18s, where Barça will always be the winner! As usual, all entrants get free tickets for the game, and there will be great prizes for the winners.
Two day congress
The XXXV Supporters Clubs Congress will follow the same format as in previous years. Sunday 17 will be a work day, with plenty of keynote issues to discuss. Amendments proposed during the correct period will also be discussed. The day will end with the framework programme being put to the votes of each federation.
The 18th is institutional day, which should be attended by members of the Board, including president Josep M. Bartomeu, and some of the new signings. The day ends with the traditional gala lunch.
Information about how to register for the Congress and all of the World Meeting events will be published on the website over the next few days. We shall also be announcing the periods for making amendments to the framework programme once it has been sent out to all of the supporters clubs.
